With so many people in the world, there are alot of diseases that can go around. With the help of vaccines, some live in a world where worrying about common and rare diseases isn't very common. With how our world works it takes big events for people to see what is not right. When big outbreaks happen they get a lot of news coverage because yes, it's a big event and yes, it is terrible that it happened. But why don’t we do more to prevent the worst than freak out about it when it happens.

In this day and age not very much is a true surprise. That is why being fully immunized is such a big deal. Especially with the growing population in the world more disease can spread much easier. Not even to mention the many people traveling from continent to continent acting as carriers for a disease.

Yes, there are factors that play a big role in the process as well. For example; immunity,  an organism's ability to resist a certain infection or toxin. This is the human bodies great contribution to preventing illnesses; it’s just amazing what we can do as human beings that we don’t have to think about to do. It’s a truly extraordinary thing. And with immunizations our bodies create more of a wall to disease than we know and some care to believe; but, our bodies do do this amazing mind-blowing thing.

With the resources we have it's hard to believe that only “85% of the world's population is immunised” says Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Now there are real reasons people do not get immunised whether that's due to allergies, being too young, or even due to a very weak immune system. With that there are vaccine-preventable diseases out there; these are the ones to be afraid about and many people do die from them. But with being immunised a person has a much better chance of not getting one of the disease they are immunised for.

With this I hope more people understand the real importance of vaccine and what they can do for not only one person but also the people around them.
