He Was Not What I Expected...
When I saw him at ropes course, he was wearing a bright yellow workers helmet that glared in the sun’s light. I told him that I liked him and he asked me out. Butterflies tickled the inside of my stomach. Therefore forcing me to lean on a tree’s rough trunk to keep from passing out. Wedding bells were already ringing in my mind. Smelling the daisies never seemed so blissful. His kisses were sweet like sugar coated lemon drops, but then he turned sour like a true lemon. He broke my heart and as I ran away, my eyes were like little faucets flooding my face with my grief. All I could feel for quite some time was my soul being shredded into ribbons of despair.
