today is graduation
Today is Graduation.
She’s a good person, student, friend, and daughter. She works hard-and it pays off. Today is her graduation day and her parents are so proud. They are proud. Proud of her hard work and commitment. They are proud of their loving daughter. Student and friend.
She gives them a kiss, a kiss on the cheek and waves her hand goodbye. She hops in her car and rides off to her graduation. On the way she thinks of all her friends. Her accomplishments and everything she has earned. Everything she has earned got her here today. Everything she earned, got her into college, and will soon get her a good job.
When she comes to the stop sign, she sees the school. She sees the students filing in the school-getting ready for the same feeling of excitement that she had. But when she puts her foot on the gas, what she didn’t see was what happened. Next. She was proud of her own accomplishments and her parents were proud of their loving daughter. Student and friend.
