The Long White Man 

It was a cold Halloween night, in the neighborhood. Where people were trick and treating I was with my brother(Aaron) and my cousin (Maria). We were all having a blast and everything was going good until we started to hear strange noises coming from the woods. The woods were pitch black and it was foggy. There really weren't any houses or people around us at the moment since it was getting much later. All we saw were big tall trees. The noises sounded like people speaking to each other. We all looked at each other and debated whether to enter the woods. We didn't think we were in danger, we were thinking it was some kind of prank. So we decided to stick together and go in.

The deeper we got in, the louder the noises were getting. We wanted to turn back but we were already much deep into the woods and too curious. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. While we were walking we saw a big white long figure hiding behind a tree, we called them out but no one answered so we continued to walk and didn't think much of it. We then started to hear something following us, so we turned back to see and there it was, the long white figure just standing there behind another tree. We all stood frozen up not knowing what to do, he started to come out of the tree slowly, I could feel my throat on my stomach. The man was covered in what looked like blood and he had this wide disturbing smile on his face. As soon as we got a clear view of that thing we dropped our stuff and began to run as fast as we could. The man followed us while yelling to come back. It seemed like he was catching up to us the faster we tried to run. We couldn't see anything, we thought we were gonna die with no way out, we were completely lost.

 While running, trying to find a way out I heard a loud thud. My brother had tripped over some tree branches and fallen over. I tried to help him up but it was too late to get him, the man was inches away from us. The man started to giggle and just as I thought he took my brother and disappeared. We knew we had to get help as soon as possible. To our luck we saw another neighborhood out in the woods, we ran straight to the lights that we saw. We saw the first house and immediately asked for help. The cops showed up in no time, we quickly told them what happened and they started to search for my brother in the woods. Our parents came and without hesitation we all began to start searching as well. The search went on all night and no one still hasn't found anything. We started to have second thoughts but didn't lose hope.

A few hours later police had found a shack full of body pieces and old furniture. Along with my brother who was tied up in a dirty chair. Luckily he was just fine and nothing bad had happened to him. The man was arrested and taken away. They searched the shack and got everything they needed. My brother was taken to the hospital, the police said we were lucky that we had gotten away and that my brother was saved in time before the long white man returned and did the things he wanted to do to my brother. The man was a psycho and we all are just grateful we got the help in time and got away.
