Lying Love
You said you loved me you said you cared you made me believe you would always be there but little did I know what was up your sleeve heartbreak deceit and pain and grief your kisses your hugs so comforting to me but love is blind so I did not see our bond was so strong or so I thought I did everything I fought and fought to make it work I cried and cried but nothing worked now I’m shattered inside searching for love again but I realize I can find that in a friend love is a killer a destroyer a deceit and I’m sorry we ever got to meet my insides are rearranged my heart is caged hopefully how I feel will just be a phase it’ll be over soon and I’ll move on and forget the pain forget the games even though ill never be the same.
