Stars
Sitting on a trampoline a girl comes to her senses. She forgot where she was, lost in the music coming from her ipod. She sits up and the sun has finally set. The cool air dances across her face, and through her hair sending a chill down her back. Thoughts of that day fill her head, but she pushes them aside while she concentrates on the lights appearing in the sky. In this place, in this state of mind nothing can touch her. She leans back and lets the springs catch the fall, and her eyes open again staring in amazement at how perfect the sky looks. Before she slowly turns over to leave she promises herself that if guidence is ever needed all she has to do is look to the stars.
