Paul Revere
On the eighteenth of April in seventy-five,Paul Revere was still alive.
Listen children, and you will hear,
a true story about Paul Revere.
When the British come by land or sea,
all together we must spread the alarm,
to all village and farm.
I climbed the north church tower,
which took about half an hour.
As then I swung my arm,
against the church alarm.
How many people will come I wonder,
as to the floor I plunder.
There was a sound of thunder.
As Paul Revere went on his midnight ride;Door to door warning the people;
“The British are coming! The British are coming!”So everyone start running.
It spread through all village and farm.
We shall not have fear,
So don’t drop a tear,
Because the end is here!
