As a Girl...
As a girl, it is considered to be in my "nature" to love children. This isn't false because I really do, but sometimes it isn't the same around. When my nephew was born, my family and I went to the hospital to go see him. I held him for the first time and people usually describe this moment as a life changing experience. For me, he cried, whined and pooped then cried again. I thought, oh gosh, this kid is going to hate me. Later when he was somehow put into my arms again, he actually didn't cry! He even smiled a bit and fell asleep in my arms while I sang to him, which is pretty incredible since I am tone deaf. That day I learned that I want kids, many kids.
