Eh? Oh, hello. I am C.C. Kay. I live in New York state and am currently in 8th grade, 14 years old. Standing at exactly 5 feet tall, (no more, no less!) wide, (16 in jeans, ouch!) bad acne, (old acne scars, zits, blackheads…oh my!) and yellowing teeth with bad breath that never fades.(Why didn’t I brush more as a child?) I loathe sports, and have no energy for them, I eat a little too much junk food, fight with my mother and sister, dislike socializing, (unless they are my close friends) and have my face plastered to either a book or computer screen. I pick my nose, and eat the boogers! (EEW!!) My hair is unmanageable. I still surround myself in stuffed animals and clutch my baby blanket close to me.(I carry it all around the house, am I a toddler or what?) I fail at my art and can’t write a story.(So why are you even reading this?!) I don’t know or care about celebrities and what hip new styles , gossip, and music is “in” right now. I don’t text or call my BFF’S everyday 24/7.How could I with no phone? I don’t even know their numbers.

I proudly stand at 5 feet tall, ( maybe I’ll grow another inch!) a bit chubby,( but most of its muscle!!) and have a few pimples here and there,( but I always wash my face!)and my teeth are a bit yellow.( I brush everyday though!) I’m not built for sports, but I try to be excited. It’s fun most of the time, actually! I eat well, but that cake I had, I could’ve gone without. Oh well. My sister and I get along well with a few petty arguments, and my mother and I just disagree, no biggie. I’m introverted, its not their fault, the people at my school are sweet and kind. I just can’t talk comfortably around anyone but my best and dearest friends. I love reading, and I need a break and play on the computer! My oldest childhood habit makes me dig into my nose for sweet snot. Good thing that’s only at home! My soft brown hair flows right down to the tip of my bottom! Ah, what nice, long hair I have. Rupert, Flower, Rose, Cinnamon, Sweet Luck, Picnic, B.B., Batollie and Swirl Eyes protect me at night and keep me warm inside. But my Nugley(baby blanket) is most important. It goes everywhere and feels like a wonderful place. My art has gotten so much better!! I can draw a real-life looking candle, flower, or tree now. My people are getting more realistic and anime-y. My writing is getting there, I hope I can write a real book one day! I don’t really bother with celebrities or styles, and I don’t want or need a phone.

Either way I look at myself…I shall be Content.
I have loving family and friends,
Food on the table,
Roof over my head,
A free mind and rights,
A smart noggin,
A talent blessed upon me,
And ability to be thankful and Content.

Ahh, what a life to live, huh?
