The shimmer of the golden light
shines below on the treetops

Loud noisy sounds come from within
the leaves left and right

As the night goes on
the owls begin to prey

On the ground it’s a tranquil night
with the crickets’ music playing

While the clouds move along
in the sky you can see the shadows
of the animals that come out at night

On the surface of the lake
you can see the reflection
and the waves get pushed back and forth

All the homes are dark
with no movement and sleeping children

Before the night begins to end
it was the moon that made
this night complete
