Childrens rights to education
I am Malala. Malala is a young girl who dreamed of getting an education. In her society girls are not provided with the opportunity to go to school, yet she went. After getting shot for wanting her right to an education, she got up and went back to the same school. All children have the right to an education no matter where they are from or what they have been through.
Many children, specifically girls in third world countries, do not have an education provided to them. It is unjust since every child deserves the opportunity to do great things with their life. In the united states children from the ages 5 to 18 are provided with an elementary through high school education for free. In other less developed areas young kids, in most cases girls, can’t go to school even though children have the right to an education. It is unjust to grow up in a society that will not provide the tools for a successful future. Even when one fights for those rights they are turned away and have to find a new way to get the great opportunities that come with an education.
When others with greater opportunities help those with less a change is made for the better of both of their lives. There is a girl in cambodia that fusion performance company helped and changed her life forever. They worked with HAGAR international to rescue her from human trafficking and provide a scholarship so she can go to college. She was alone, with all her rights taken away but since people got involved she was given those rights back. She was set free and given her rights to an education. She has grown into an incredible woman over the past 3 years because of HAGAR and fusion dance performance company. All it takes is a few people that are willing to help and provide justice to those who deserve it.
Some may say that you must learn to work with the conditions you are provided with. That is unjust. One does not control where or how they grow up and most need help to become the astonishing people they are meant to be.
Education, rights, and children three things when combined changes one's life for the better. Children no matter where they come from have their right to an education.
