Private School Memories MAG
All personalities are hidden
by pleated skirts and oxford shirts.
As everyone hurries to class,
we all think the same things.
We wonder if it will be the same,
But we know it is already different.
Maybe it will change.
We all realized
that nothing will ever be the same.
We came together as one,
the same problems,
the same fears,
the same joys,
the same tears.
As we look at each other
with questions in our eyes,
we wonder,
did they tell us the truth?
Or was it all lies?
Will these really be the best years
of our lives?
It's almost over now,
and the answer is clear,
even though there are no boys,
I wish I'd made it one more year,
But I made some mistakes
that the sisters didn't like.
They gave no more chances
to consider my fate.
They changed my future
In only one night.
I left them all behind and
now I know
I learned something there
that can never be taught.
It's the feeling I get when I see them
laughing or hugging or just hanging out,
A feeling of emptiness because
now I'm left out.
