Seven-year-old boy, Luke Engelman, opened a lemonade stand to help save his mom from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the immune system throughout the body. His mom was diagnosed only four months after giving birth to her fourth child in 2013. After many failing chemotherapy treatments, she started natural healing treatments in Mexico. For Luke, he saw this as an opportunity to help out,he did just that by opening a lemonade stand.

He started selling lemonade in his neighborhood to help raise money to pay for these treatments and was an immediate success. He has raised 3,903 dollars from what my sources say so far. He is still determined to help his mom more than ever.  When he began, he kept saying,“My mom has cancer, and now she’s really sick and we have to get rid of it.” His mom is hoping to return home from Mexico in six weeks.
