Humans of Parsippany
¨I spent 23 years of my life with my parents, my grandparents, and my siblings. Then after 23 years, when I had gotten married, within 3 months of my marriage, I was the first one in my family to go thousands of miles away and at that time I didn't know when I would see my family again. But in reality, before I went to the USA my grandfather had told me “I will die after you go to the USA”. At that time I didn't really think of it and thought that the next time I go back to India he will still be there waiting for me. But what I didn't know was that after one and a half months of me being in the USA, my grandfather was gonna pass away. That was the biggest shock of my life and the thing he told me came true. I wish I had been able to see my grandfather before he died and hug him just once.¨(Parsippany New Jersey)
