The Scent of Home
My grandma has to be my favorite person in the world. She’s the nicest, sweetest, most true-hearted person I’ve ever known. And, every time I get a whiff of the very distinct Ramen Noodles she likes to make me when I go over to her house, it makes me smile. Every time the scent infiltrates my nostrils I feel at peace and at home instantly, thinking of my grandmother. It takes me to my happy place. It’s funny how the simplest little things can symbolize the biggest, most important ones.
