Eyes
My family’s eyes are curious. My mom has bright green eyes, my dad’s eyes laced with hazel stay steady. My sister and I are both stuck with dirt brown eyes. They tell a story about our lives and feelings. My mom’s eyes are pure yet tell the story of her life. My dad’s eyes show the impossible, how luck and working without a degree come together. And my sister and I have eyes that are undefined.
My mom’s eyes are green like a meadow sprouting with vegetation. My mom’s eyes are different from the rest of our family’s. Her eyes show love, hardwork and dignity. When I look into my mom’s eyes I see myself. Her eyes are stressed but relaxed. The birthmark in them is bold, brave and beautiful. It makes her stand out from us. Her eyes can be cold like a snowman, but are also made from love.
