The Retreat
On my church retreat, I helped a women clean because she was incapable of doing it herself. Her house was a huge mess and the outside; her house was covered with mold. We cleaned the whole house. We finished working, she cried and told us how grateful she was for everything we did for her; to us, it felt like something so small. After this moment I knew this was going to be the best day of my life. This made me feel humbled and realized people live like this all over the world and we do nothing about this.

This peace is an important moment from a time I went on a church retreat and left with a whole new meaning to my world and life. I learned so much being there and was changed mentally and physically. I love helping people so to me this was the absolute least I could do for this woman. I cherished every moment of this retreat and continue to tell the story from this moment.
