Connected
It was a moment of pure bliss. Surrounded by me were thousands of people who all bonded over one common interest, like stars in a constellation. PlayBoi Carti. Everyone was running back to the stage as the bright, beaming lights turned on and we heard the beat of his song “Location” start to fill the night. Initially we thought the concert was over as it went dead silent for almost three minutes. When my friends and I reached the spot we were before we left, it felt like everyone who raced back was on the same wavelength, basically connected. If I used the word ascending it would be an understatement. This kind of feeling you only get a few times in life, so it makes you want to cherish it even more. The weirder part is you experience this same feeling with numerous people whose names you will never hear. All you needed to concentrate on was the music that helped you share an experience which brought a memory that will last me a lifetime.
