MAKING A GOOD DECISION
When I was in elementary school my friends didn’t like me because I didn’t want to do bad things like them. My friends were drinking liquor and smoking weed. But after that they started talking to me.
Everything started 5 years ago, when I was in 5th grade, my friends started doing bad things in school, like smoking. I can still hear the click of the lighter when they took out their cigarettes. They were doing bad things to the people, like throwing rocks at them, but they would hide so nobody could see them. Another reason why they didn’t like me is because they were jealous of me because I got straight A’s and they didn’t. I got straight A’s because I reviewed everything I learned in school. I always got certificates in elementary school.
After one month they started talking to me again. I would see my friends in the courtyard walking toward me, and they looked like they were homeless because they were coming from smoking weed. They would say,” Que onda loco,” and I would reply,” Que uvole.”
Thinking about the past, I know now that I made a good decision, to not drink and smoke. I want to finish school, have a career, and make money to have a family and everything that I need to be happy in my life.
