Touch
Her curves weave in and out between the light blue and white stripes; her mind goes blank and her light green eyes roll back in disgust. She is shaken with emotion as she directs her eyes back to the powder blue stripes and gently touches her needle point pen to the page. Her words fit neatly between the lines on the page, much like the way our hands fit together like a glove. She clenches the pen tightly as all of her emotion spills on the page like tears from one more night of high school drama; as her lines slow and her story comes to an end, she’s relieved of the pressure that something so simple like high school; that can be so easily portrayed in Hollywood movies, puts on everyone of us each day until all we have left to do is write.
