Maybe I am a good writer, but when I have a blank page in front of me and a pen in my hand, sometimes I don’t even know how to start. I don’t know what I want to say or how I want to say it. I don’t know how long it will be or how short it will be. I don’t know if it will help anyone like I want it to. All I know how to do is put the pen to the paper and the fingers to the keyboard. Than I wait. When I’m done waiting, I look at it and I wonder. Is this what I wanted to say and did I say it good? Is it long enough or to short? Will it help someone the way I want it to? In the end, all I know is one simple thing. It matters not what I write, but what God can write with me. God made me as one would make a pen. The pen and I are simply alike. We have a love for paper. We will not get tired from writing. It does not hurt us if we write too much or too little. We both know what we are meant for and we know what our purpose for mankind is. We know why our creator built us, we are to write. Despite these similarities we do have one BIG difference. The pen will run out of ink and be tossed away. My creator shall refill me. He will give me enough ink to carry on the stories that He has created me to write. I know that my creator shall not toss me away. The day I lose my ink shall be the day that my creator has no more ink for me. That shall be the day when He will decide that I have completed all His stories. He will than take me to His Kingdom where I can look into His eyes and thank Him for giving me the ink that He knew I needed. I will thank Him for always refilling me. I will thank Him for never tossing me out. I will thank Him for creating me for a very important purpose. I will thank Him for letting me be His pen.
