My Mother’s hair, always flowing and beautiful. Constantly getting shorter and darker as she grows older. My Father’s hair, slicked back all business like, like he’s going to an interview. My two brother’s hair, started blonde and curly. Wild and interesting. As they grow older it turns brown and straight. Boring and normal. Today all my family members hair have turned from blonde to brown, interesting and wild to boring and normal.

Then there’s my hair. still blonde and curly. Wild and interesting. It doesn’t abide by any rules or combs. My hair continues to not change like my family's. Forever blonde and curly. Forever wild and interesting.
