If you ask any adult what dreams are, they'll tell you it's something your mind concocts while your sleeping, but if you ask a kid what dreams are, they'll tell you that it's something to aspire to,like who you could be. Personally I like this definition better.

I think at one point or another we all have had a dream, something precious and unique to us. Whether it's being a fireman or an artist or even president, it was something for us only, we didn't have to share it. The thing is though, that while we all have a dream, not many of us get to live it. I thought that was unfair and cruel. What was the point of giving us this ability to see our best selves if we might not be able to use it?

Then it kind of dawned on me that maybe the best part about having a dream isn't doing it, but just having it. Dreams represent who we are, kind of the esscence of our soul. As long as we remember them we remember who we are.
