To Be A Gymnast MAG

She walks out onto the floor

And salutes the judges.

The gymnast collapses

As flat as an empty balloon.

The murmuring crowd falls silent as the music starts.

Her body slowly inflates.

She dances and she tumbles,

Her arms and legs moving like clockwork,

Not truly realizing what

She's doing.

The music ends.

A smile frozen on her crimson countenance.

She bolts off the floor to a cheering crowd

Chanting her name.

How great it feels

To be a gymnast.
