Dreams Wasted MAG
A young boy grows with ideas of being a pro
He possesses the skill, but one thing he doesn't know
He grows and grows and becomes strong
But he refuses to sing the academic song
Because of his skill, he goes to college
Stays in for football, he has no knowledge
Becomes All-American, going pro is his life
Last game in college, into his heart plunges a knife
Chasing someone, he feels a break in his knee
His career may be over, the doctors will see
Football was his life, with nothing to fall back to
All those years he should have studied, he knows it's true.
