Chinatown

We walk down the streets lined with colorful objects and great smelling food. Young sales people call to us from their booths while old men line the streets talking rapidly in Chinese. My sister and I stop at a market and buy candies a friend used to give to us as kids. It looks as though we’ve just stepped off a plane in Hong Kong, when in reality we are in the middle of San Francisco. An elderly lady walks by and calls out “Welcome to Chinatown!”
