Gifted
Summary:
The red light had been there for as long as I, Casey Winters could remember. The only time I had ever asked anyone about it was in second grade. Mr. Johnson had said that it was a camera to make sure that the students didn’t do anything bad. I hadn’t quite believed him, but I never asked anyone again.
Now I was in fifth grade at East Stream Elementary. It seemed that I had only just started the year when things started to go wrong.
Now I know what the red light is for, and it isn't anything I could have expected.
