Pressed Paper
Summary:
Bridget Dubois was never significant for academic reasons in the eyes of her conservative mother, but when the letter for the college of her dreams comes for Technology all the way in New York, she jumps on the opportunity. She knows she will face a lot of adversity against sexist elites and her mothers old views on women, but she knows she must leave everything behind in Louisiana if she is to take this dream of hers by force. She only gets one chance to escape, with all of her guests and mother in her debutante.
