Summary:

Patch Collins has pancreatic cancer and he is expected to die in less then a year. Darla Walters tried to kill herself and failed. Both teens are locked up inside St. Francis's children's hospital receiving medical treating. When the two meet at a group therapy session they help show each other the meaning of life and living.
