Author's note:
This story kinda relats to my life me and my brother are constantly arguing when me and my family try and do stuff or he is always complaining and ruins the night.
Jazzes’ hectic life
Lizzy: I cannot believe were graduation today, (as they wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking.)
(They walk down the stairs together and too their surprise Jazzes brother, Brad, is home.)
Jazz: uhm what are you doing home (with a huge surprise on her face)
(Jazz and Lizzy pull out their chairs in their kitchen table to eat)
Brad: I know you missed me
Jazz: I would not say that, why are you even here
Jazzes mom: Yall need to stop right now before I ground both of yawl
Brad: I do not know why she hates me so much I have never done anything to her for her to despise me like she does
(Jazz is so embarrassed because her friend must watch her and her brother fight)
Jazz: Are you kidding me? My whole life you have done everything in your capability to take away any attention given to me; you always want to be the center of everything.
(everyone is quiet)
Jazzes mom: Are yawl excited to be graduating today?
Jazz: I was until Brad got into town.
Lizzy: Lets go, we must get our hair done
(Jazz and Lizzy leave the house and go to the hair salon)
(they arrive at the hair salon)
Jazz: I do not understand why Brad just had to come home on my big day
Lizzy: I know but try and have a good day
(Lizzy and jazz continue to get their hair done and go to their next appointment for their makeup)
(they arrive to get their makeup done)
Jazz: I just cannot believe he would do this again
Lizzy: I know right
Jazz: Its every time something big is happening for me he always finds a way to ruin it
Lizzy: There is no way he would ruin your graduation though
Jazz: I Hope he does not, this is a big day for me
Lizzy: Let us just get our makeup done and relax
Jazz: Your right
(the girl's makeup up gets done)
(the girls get home)
Jazz: Mom I am home
Jazzes mom: Hi honey you look so good
Jazz: Thank you, Luke is on his way to pick us up
Brad: Who's Luke?
Jazz: Well you would know if you would pay attention to me instead of trying to ruin everything I do
Lizzy: Come on jazz let us get ready
(a couple of mins go by)
Jazzes mom: Jazz, Luke is here!
(Jazz runs downstairs to the door and opens it)
Jazz: Hi babe
Luke: Hey
Brad: “hi babe” (he is imitating his sister)
Jazz: Shut up Brad
(Lizzy Jazz and Luke leave to go to their graduation)
Luke: Who's ready to graduate
Lizzy: I am!
Jazz: I am!
Lizzy: I cannot believe we are all graduating these last four years went by so fast
Jazz: I know I am glad to be finally going to college and getting my life started
Lizzy: Arnt we all (ahata)
Luke: Iv waiting my whole life for this one day and it is already over
Jazz: we just must make this day last
Lizzy: I know
Jazz: Hang on my mom's calling me
(jazz answers the phone and has a scared look on her face)
Luke: Jazz what is wrong?
Jazz: Brad just got into a wreck he is on his way to the hospital
(jazz whispers while she is still on the phone)
Lizzy: What! Are you serious!
Luke: What do we do, we are graduating today?
(everyone starts freaking out)
(Luke turns the car around and starts heading toward the hospital)
Jazz: Yall do not have to stay here yawl need to go to the graduation
Lizzy: I am not leaving you
Luke: Neither am I
Jazz: Are yawl sure this is a big day for yawl
Lizzy: Jazz we can still get our diplomas later
Luke: We are not leaving you
Jazz: Okay thank you guys
Lizzy: Is very time jazz
Jazz: I know tell me about it I cannot have one day without his ruining it
Luke: but he cannot control if he got into a wreck
Jazz: I just need to hear how it happened
Lizzy: I do not think he would cause a wreck just to mess up your day
Jazz: your right
(they pull into the hospital)
(jazz calls her mom to find out what room they are in)
Jazz: Hi I am here to see Brad Tuik he is my brother
(she says to the front desk lady)
Front desk lady: He is in room 354
(they all run there)
Jazz: Mom what happened in the wreck? Can he hear me?
Jazzes mom: A car pulled out in front of him and hit the driver's side and made him flip, he is unconscious. The doctors say he should wake up soon
Jazz: I cannot believe this I thought he did it on purpose I am a terrible person
Lizzy: No, you were just used to him doing this stuff, so you thought he did
Jazz: Is he going to be okay mom
Jazzes mom: Yes, hopefully yawl did not have to come up here yawl need to be at the graduation
Jazz: No, I need to be here for him
Lizzy: We are staying here
Luke: Yes, we are staying with yawl
Jazz: Where was he going?
Jazzes mom: He was going to your graduation
Jazz: He came down here to go.
Lizzy: I thought he did not really come down here for that
Jazz: I know me too I thought he just came down here to ruin my graduation
Brad: Me too
Jazz: I need him to wake up so I can apologize
Lizzy: He will wake up later we just have to wait
Jazz: I feel so bad I was so rude to him today
Luke: You thought he was there for the wrong reason because of how he has acted in the past you cannot be upset with yourself over this it will be okay you can talk to him as soon as he gets up
Jazz: But who knows if he will wake up or if he will even wake up
(she says in a worry voice with tears rolling down her face)
Luke: It is going to be okay
Jazz: I do not get why he has not woken up, yet it has been hours
Lizzy: I think it would be best if we all left and just went to your house jazz.
Jazz: But I need to be here with him
Luke: Come on jazz we can come back up here when your mom tells us he woke up but for now you need to rest because you are overthinking this and blaming it on yourself when it is not your fault.
Jazz: Fine
(this all head back to the house)
Jazz: Do yawl think he will wake up?
Luke: Yes
Lizzy: Yes, he is a fighter
(jazz gets a call)
Jazz: He's awake we can go up there now.
(They head to the hospital)
Jazz: Brad are you okay
(she says in a worry voice)
Brad: Yes, I am fine
Jazz: I am so sorry for the way I acted today; I should not hold a grudge on you for your past. I feel so bad
Brad: Do not feel bad, I acted terrible back then and I am sorry, but I am trying to change. I gave you reasons to act like that. It is my fault
Jazz: I did not know you wanted to be here for my graduation
Brad: Of course, I wanted to be here this is a big day for you. But why aren't you there right now?
Jazz: I was not going to leave you this is more important to me than walking across the stage. I can always go up to the school and get my diploma.
Brad: That was extremely sweet of you, but you did not have to do that.
Jazz: I know but I realized after the way I acted today that I need to be there for you and not push you away like I have been.
Brad: I know I should not have acted the way I did either I am sorry
(after brad gets treated for his broken arm they go home)
Jazz-: I am so glad your home and feeling better
Brad: Me too, having you by my side made it a lot easier
Jazzes mom: I never knew this day would come where yawl is close
Jazz: I just had to stop holding grudges and realize people change, having him get in that wreck and being scared that he will not wake back up showed me that I cannot act like that to everyone.
Brad: I had to change my ways too, I was young, and I was trying to ruin everything that involves you.
Jazz: I love you
Brad-: I love you too
(they all hug)
