The Wise Man
Summary:
Eighth grader Jordan Berkley is used to keeping his emotions suppressed at best, or unleashed in cruelty towards his family and classmates.
When his grandfather passes away, leaving only a few strange gifts to his grandson, Jordan begins to see how he's been hurting the people around him, and takes it upon himself to make amends while strengthening his faith in religion until he reaches the point where it seems that no sacrifice is too great to make for another human being.
