A Marionette's Strings (Part 1)
Summary:
After their parents died years ago, Willow and Pepper moved to the Tower, formerly known as the Empire State Building, which was changed into a place for people who have supernatural powers, to live and learn how to control them. Then, Willow disappeared. The only clue about her disappearance was a mysterious note signed by a person named The Puppeteer. Now, six years later, people have been going missing from Manhattan and the only thing connecting them are notes exactly like the note left behind in Willow's wake. Joined by friends from the Tower, Pepper and Caleb, Pepper's equivalent of an older brother, begin to research these disappearances. Diving headfirst into a mystery where one wrong step could mean surrendering their freedom of being themselves entirely.
