There was a fight in school today.
It scared us all.
At first it was just words,
then things got out of control.
They threw chairs and punches.
Innocent people got hurt.
It was blacks against whites.
Then the police came.
People were suspended.
Rumors were flying.
We thought it couldn't happen.
Then it did.
And we are all scared,
because,
