Today on October 27, 2021, my baby sister is being born through a c-section. Something that I never thought would happen in my life. I am so excited to have another younger sibling that I can help take care of. Also, the day that I can finally find out her name because my dad and step-mom do not have a name chosen for her yet. 

I also had school today. So I could not see her until school was over. During that time all I could think about was “How big is she?” “What is her name going to be?” “Did everything go safely?” My mind was constantly flooding with questions that I could not focus on my school work. 

Back at the hospital, when she came out all you could hear was her crying and the doctor saying “ohh it is a girl.” Apparently, one doctor thought it was a boy and got surprised when it was not.
