I will hold back as much info as I can so no one else will have to suffer like I did.

It’s Friday the Thirteenth. I wasn’t superstitious at the time, but now I fear that day. It was a rather normal day, at school we learned nothing important, and lunch was awful. Nothing new, nothing bad. After school my family went to meet my dad, and this is where it all went downhill. We decided to go to a restaurant, since it had been a week since he left for his business trip. We ate Italian food with him. He hates Italian! Then he wants to go home and watch a movie. We ended up getting a Redbox movie. So? Is that important? We went home, watched it, enjoyed it, but it was what happened after that scares me to this day. I was on my laptop while the rest of my family was on their phones. Still nothing super strange, except the silence that consumed the living room. My dad, still weary from the flight back, says,

“Have you heard this yet?”

He starts playing this song from his phone, this tiny box making these vibrations that will change every thing I see in this world, it starts playing, and my hearing jumps, I felt reconition and I knew the song, the chords I’ve heard thousands of times before, and then she starts singing. Words I know by heart, and have loved for years, echoed in my head, empty now of all meaning. Friday the Thirteenth! My whole mind swam, and cried out, and screamed! All for these words that have no meaning to me anymore, from the most evil person I know, she sang, on Friday the Thirteenth,

“Do you remember, the twenty eighth night, of September?”
