Don't Control Me
12/19/10: One thing you will learn about me. Don’t ever tell me what to do. You think you can tell me to get these grades, so that I can go to this school? So that I can get this job and live another boring life in the suburbs. No. I will go to college. But I’ll go to college in New York. I will make something of myself. I will not be that boring girl from Pleasanton. Who got good grades went to a UC and became a doctor. No. I will become a movie producer. I will become a director. I will be noticed. I will be somebody. I will become my own. And you will never tell me what to do.
