Step Out of Your Isolation Zone
The article, “Step Out of Your Isolation Zone,” encompasses Whitney as she slowly travels to the realization that she had been isolating herself for her whole life. Whitney watches herself and the world around her as more and more teens become more secluded from their families. This mindset is not only relatable to all teens, but to adults as well.
The advice she gives is simple, yet daunting. Merely talking more to your family members seems easy, but with some kids, isolation has crept deep within them. Barriers that have been up for years cannot break down in one single action. Devotion is needed to change. Whitney’s article is promising and takes a step in a bold direction. In a world of technology, where one can isolate himself/herself with free will, it is refreshing and relieving to see how someone can step out of seclusion, step by step.
