Heaven to Hell
A salvation twisted,
Into her own personal hell.
A once safe haven,
Shattered as she fell.
A perfect land,
Of peace and of life,
Turned into a monument,
Of her soul’s current strife.
An indomitable place,
Conquered by outside beings,
Now there’s nothing safe.
They control her feelings.
Walls torn down,
A soul stripped bare.
The world frowns upon her,
She knows they don’t care.
On the inside she’s bleeding.
On the outside she’s numb.
Her faith she is losing,
To the world she’ll succumb.
They beat her down.
Without second thought.
To the world she’s nothing,
In her world she’s caught.
