Dead Girl Drifting
Your taste is guilt on a winter's night
She loves burn in her throat when you hold it tight
Don't utter a sound, hollow your heart
Euphoria is when she's unaware and it feels like art
Five pounds down, ten stone weaker
The burn in your eyes and her tears leak impure
Innocence adrift, bones and skin and scratches
Subway trains flying and flaming red matches
Is this what you hoped for, a dead girl drifting?
Blisters and splinters, the sweet taste of honey
A joyful melancholy, broken hearts and parties
She just wants somebody to listen
But this is reality and everyone is busy
The words are trapped in your fist
You lick the sugar from her lips
A grey sunrise and the dips in her hips
Lifetimes with no hope feel just like this

This poem can be seen in many ways. From my point of view, it's about being in love with someone that's hurting you. It's about being so attached to them that you can't bring yourself to leave, even if it's killing you inside.
