A Lone Wolf

A lone wolf wonders
Along ancient trails,
Her white fur glistening
In the bright patches of sunlight
That have sneaked around the canopy
Of the silent forest.
Her misty blue eyes shows she is
Deep in thought of her
Lost pack and her loneliness.
Her ivory claws churnthe earth were
Her paws softly pad on
The forest floor.
She searches for company,
A single pack,
So she can loose herself
In the many faces
Of a new family.
