Work, home, work, home,
I don't want your dream,
To lose yourself to money,
No dignity, no self-esteem.

Family? Friends? Love?
No, all you want is wealth,
Heart of silver, mind of gold,
Go ahead, flaunt this "wealth".

Your world is over when
Ben Franklins cease to exist,
You changed my world
With your immorally clenched fists.

With your fingers surrounding
My neck, as I fall to the floor,
As my shrieks fail to
Keep you from strangling me more.

You are ungrateful, vile,
Oblivious to our pain,
You are blind to the sunlight
Until it starts to rain.

You will continue to neglect,
You will never comprehend,
My demolished heart,
My wounds that will never mend.

But I will never lose my morals,
My faith, my hope, my joy,
I will never be like you,
Blind to who you hurt and destroy.

For those of you who have been in a situation like mine or any devastating situation, be strong. Why do these things happen? So that you can grow stronger, is what I believe.

I am the author of my own life... unfortunately I'm writing in pen and can't erase my mistakes.

THis is so packed with emotion, you almost feel like you're there. I hope everything is ok with you now. I will keep you in my prayers, and keep up the good work

That's deep. I hope everything went well for you. My girlfriend knows how I feel and she's read it before.
