Wrong Side of Right
Why can't I do anything right,
Can't I just go to bed in peace at night.
We're always fussing,
And we're constantly fighting.
Even when I try not to argue,
And even when I try not to fight,
I still always end up on the wrong side of right.
Why can't I just listen,
Can't I just learn to think before I speak.
We always bicker.
You're always bothering me.
Even when I'm all alone,
And even when I don't put up a fight,
I still always end up on the wrong side of right.
Why can't I back down,
Why can't I give up.
Maybe because there's a fight in me,
Or maybe a flame flares up in me.
I told myself I'd stop,
And I tell myself not to fight.
Is it me or is it you?
The answer doesn't really matter,
Because I'll still always end up on the wrong side of right.
