Red, shiny, smooth petals fill the mind,
like a race to the finish tracking each other
eventually, getting to where they were going
they recede into one whole little capsule
and by morning they sprout out to say hello
slowly the mechanics work their way to perfection
with a reflection of love, passion, and fate
the smell lingers throught the air,
or is it the eyes?
leaves suddenly grow and decorate the red bud of life
with a hint of flushing desire
and the cycle begins again...
