What if God Exists?
There’s a feeling deep inside me that can’t compare with superstition
A malicious foreboding image that I dare call a premonition
Anchored deep within but lurking just under the surface
This thought is just so real that it has to have a purpose:
What if God exists and what if everybody knew?
It was proven irrefutable to both the Hindus and the Jews
The atheists and Buddhists, Catholics and Muslims too
It’s hard to imagine just exactly what everyone would do
Would we reform and repent and seek salvation in heaven above?
Would we show each other kindness and live our lives so full of love?
Or would we seek no greater meaning cause, well, we all know God is real
Would we say, “I ain’t living for God, I’ve got lots of time to heal”
With no more opinions, as to what is the correct religion
We could all unite, and destroy barriers of division
And there is a distinct possibility that nothing would change at all
We’d go on living life as victims of The Fall
The promises are infinite, there are too many to list
And honestly I don’t really know, whether or not God exists
