Part of me is charcoal grey—
Like a lurking thunderstorm,
or a lingering fog.
Not too this, not too that.
Balanced.
But, part of me is also sunset orange—
Like a dripping dreamsicle,
or a perfectly ripe peach.
Just enough this, just enough that.
Spontaneous.
Yes, I am both charcoal grey and sunset orange—
I am like a smoldering fire,
a perfect balance of both.
