Memories
Memories
 Falling ever so slowly
 from sweaty hands
 Scruitizined
 under the glaring sun
 wrong
 they say
 But
 memories can't lie
 so the blanket of grass
 covers them
 Hidden
 under the dark confines
 of soil
 disintegrating
 and dripping
 drip
 drip
 drip
 Until they become
 part of the earth
and we scoop them up again
 To create
 sandcastles and mudpies
 and new memories
 Memories always
 Memories once again
