Alone in thought, a man he stood
next to a pile of rotted wood,
and through the path of cobblestone
He walked and walked and thought alone.
A lady joined him by his side
and next to her his joy and pride.
His daughter and his soul on fire
brought him back from man's desire.

The author's comments:
People often spend hours dreaming up surreal experiences, imagining what it would be like to be inherit a fortune from a long lost relative, win the lottery, or become rich and famous, but real life always pulls them back. You've got to appreciate how you're living, or you won't ever have a life.
