Blind
You’re blind
To everything but her
You love her
Even when you deny it
Completely focused on her every move
Her every word
You live to touch her
Hold her hand
Rest your head on her shoulder
Stroke her hair
And you completely ignore
The dark huddled creature
Curled up in the corner
Begging for attention
Choking back screams
Who dreams of you
Who wants to hate you, but can’t
Who would love you
For you, not your popularity
But you’re blind to her
And continue your shallow love
To someone who doesn’t care
While your rejected sits
And plots your demise
