Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.
Life is not counted by the breaths you take but the moments that take your breath away.
A little madness, a little kindness, makes for happiness.

I bet you don't remember,
Who you used to be.
I bet you don't remember,
What you did to me.

I bet you don't remember,
the way we used to smile.
I bet you don't remember,
Running an extra mile.

I bet you don't remember,
How you made me laugh.
I bet you don't remember,
Being late to Class.

I know you DO remember,
How you called me lame.
But I bet you can't remember,
even my first name.

I DO remember though,
and my friend I want you back.
But my hope's deteriorating,
with every one of your attacks.

And if you do remember,
If it's stirring in your mind,
Please remember now.
Remember leaving me behind.

So please remember, friend.
Try to understand.
I need you now my friend.
I need to hold your hand.

So if you don't remember,
Even with this letter,
Though this last lined won't rhyme,
it's what I need to say.

I'll never give up on you.

This is supposed to be about a guy and a girl being friends. The note/poem is something the girl is giving him. The image I chose for it is supposed to be a photo of the two of them that the girl gave him along with the note/poem.

One last thing- no, this doesn't apply to something in my life. Yet.
