Deep Darkness

I lay motionless. Darkness starts to set in. My hearing fades.
Wait am I dying? I knew this day would come, it was a good run.
I've never been more relieved in my life when I wake in the lake.

This Peom is about when I was a young middle schooler who was terrified of the lake. This pice shows some of the emotions that would run trhough my head when I was trying to over come my fear of swimming in the lake.
